New and Exclusive!!!

Never heard of Private Stock, but they’re supposedly a new company. They dropped these off at Shoe Gallery and I think they still have a few left. As of Saturday afternoon, they were in stock at Shoe Gallery and well, that black one is on my radar so I suggest you beat me to it because next time I’m in Downtown I’m gonna try and cop it. If anyone has a website link or more info on Private Stock, hit me up.

Lupe Fiasco Thought About Committing Suicide While Making His Latest Album "To Keep From Killing Someone Else"

Lupe Fiasco has put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into his upcoming 'Lasers' album.

The project was once rejected by his label Atlantic, he tried getting released from the label, fans organized a rally/boycott to get the album put out, now finally, on March 8, it will see the light of day.

There are still some battle scars left on the Chicago rapper, even if you can't see them.

In a recent interview with Details, Lupe talks about contemplating suicide while trying to get this album out. He even raps about it on the song "Beautiful Lasers."

"If you feel like you don't want to be alive, you feel just like I am," he raps.

A lot of his frustration stemmed from the fact Atlantic wanted him him to be something he's not. Trying to force poppy, syrupy records that might be fine for other artists but not Lupe down his throat.

"The creation of Lasers was a very painful, dark, f*cked-up process," he says. Adding that he definitely thought about suicide if only to prevent himself from "from killing somebody else,"

Creatively, Lupe knows his limits and what he's capable of musically even after Atlantic rejected his album initially for not being pop enough, he stayed on course.

"I don't know how to do what Kanye does," he says "I don't have that Midas touch."

He does however have the ability to make great songs that his fans enjoy.

Wale confirms his signing to Maybach Music Group

It took about two months to finally get confirmation, but Wale has officially signed with Rick Ross and them. However, Wale is still associated with Roc Nation on the management side, that partnership remains unaffected by this new signing. It should be an interesting couple of months to see and how and what comes about from Wale’s new 305 supported system.

Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux”

Air Jordan 7 "Bordeaux"

Jordan Brand really knows how to give the people what they want. Just when you think they can’t rile up the hungry masses again they go and pull out the Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux” and make things interesting.
We all know what the shoes look like by now and the big question is do they live up to the standards they once set. The answer is a resounding yes with the Black/Light Graphite nubuck upper in full effect. The Bourdeaux tongue flies high and the plastic 23 heel emblem pulls it all together. The changes on this model are subtle if any and as April approaches surely there will be a more thorough comparison. Available now on eBay.

SNEAKERS :: Air Jordan 5 Premio “Bin 23″

Since the Air Jordan 2011′s are hideous as hell, I guess we have nothing to look forward to this year except tons and tons of retro releases. And here are the Air Jordan 5 Premio “Bin 23″, which will be out sometime in 2011. But if you want to get your hands on ‘em early, well, you can be a hefty premium over OSneaker if you want them that bad. Spotted at IMF.

Yo sneakerheads

The Air Jordan XI Concords, which are like the holy grail of all sneakers to a lot of sneakerheads – has been confirmed to be released later this year. Much in the same fashion that the Space Jams took over Christmas of ’09. And as the Cool Greys took over Christmas of 2010. Sneakerheads, give thanks.
