Jordan Spizike Summer Releases

Jordan Brand has released two Jordan Spizike so far this year in the form of the “Fresh Since ‘85″ pair and the “Do You Know” colorway. However, we should expect at least two more Jordan Spizkes this year as we will soon see the black/varsity red-stealth colorway and the black/new blue-white infrared pair this summer. In detail, the Jordan Spizike black/new blue-white-infrared will release on May 8th, 2010, while the Jordan Spizike black/varsity red-stealth will hit retailers on June 5th, 2010. Both of these Spizike colorways received both positive and negative comments when photos first surfaced on the web. Specifically, a lot of you were skeptical of the Jordan Spizike black/varsity red-stealth becuase of its patent leather finish, while others expressed their discontent with the Jordan Spizike black/new blue-white-infrared’s erractic color scheme. Are either of these must-haves for you come summer time?

Todd Bratrud x Nike SB Dunk High Premium “Skunk”

The controversial, topical and out-right interesting “Skunk” Dunk we previewed this week wasn’t designed solely by the powers that be at Nike SB. It turns out that Todd Bratrud, who’s worked with the Beaverton skate branch before on shoes such as the “Brain Wreck” Dunk, had a hand in the designing of this “Skunk”-inspired sneaker. Furry suede in multiple shades is pieced together in multiple shades of green, as well as purple on the Swoosh, to make the upper. A dark tan midsole pairs with a purple outsole. It;s interesting to see such a controversial shoecome from Nike, but this shoe is sure to cause quite a stir with sneakerheads, as well as parent groups. DC LIFE X PROBUS ADMIRAL SPORT PROBOT

Sometimes a brand just needs to shine and with DC LIFE and their new Probus Admiral Sport Probot that is exactly what they are doing. The shoe is a collaboration between DC LIFE and Probus NYC, the illustrious sneaker outlet. These shoes are so shiny and bright that we recommend wearing sunglasses with them just in case you accidentally look down at your own feet. These ones could surely cause some temporary blindness if not used with care.

The upper features an almost entirely metallic silver color that almost resembles chrome and shines just as brightly. Hints of red can also be found thrown into the mix here as well to mix things up just a bit as does the the white midsole sitting underneath the shoe. These ones will be releasing today at Probus NYC, so if these are your style then you better quit hesitating and get out there.

AIR JORDAN WINTERIZED SPIZ’IKE BOOT DARK SHADOW/BLACK/CHALLENGE RED

Even though the snow is starting to melt and we are slowly beginning to move out of the winter season, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t too late to start thinking about what you are going to do when it comes to footwear for next year. If your mind is already wandering towards that train of thought then maybe you should give this Air Jordan Winterized Spiz’ike Boot in a dark shadow, black and challenge red colorway.

The shoe will feature a predominantly dark upper, using a mixture of both dark shadow and black and will then be accented very nicely by challenge red. The material the is used predominantly on the upper is nubuck, which is sure to keep you warm and dry in those cold and wet winter months. If this shoe hits your sweet spot then make sure it is on your holiday wish list later this year.
