Sneakerheads, break those piggy banks and empty out those wallets because this weekend Nike is going to launch seven different kicks. No Jordans in the lineup this weekend, but I’m sure one of these will put a smile on your face.
First up we have the Nike Air Foamposite One Pro (Electric Green/Black) a never before seen color way on the Foamposites. These will drop Saturday March 5th and retail for $190.
Then, gear up for March Madness with four different color ways of the Kobe VIs. There’s the “China” (MTLC/Pewter/White-Crimson $130), “Glass Blue”(Dark Grey/Vibrant Yellow-Glass Blue-Total Orange $130), “Duke” (Varsity Royal/White-Black $130). And then there’s the “Rice” (Moss Green/Green Apple-Black) color way, the only one out of the four that is going to retail at $150 – made exclusively for Harlem’s Rice High School, these are sure to sellout within seconds of releasing.
Finally Nike will release three new color ways of the Lebron 8’s. Without a doubt, out of all seven sneakers releasing this weekend, the Entourage Lebrons (Photo Blue/Black/Tour Yellow) are the most anticipated, releasing Friday March 4th with a price tag of $160. Also releasing March 4th is the Nike Lebron 8 “Summit Lake Hornets” (Neutral Grey/Orion Blue-Cool Grey) and “Yankees” (Midnight Navy/White-Metallic Silver) both will retail at $160.

Nike “Questlove” Drop
With a unique, never-done-before design, the Nike Dunk Hi gets a slight makeover with the Red pair featuring an overlay that conceals the laces for a cleaner look complete with white buttons and the classic premium Nike leather. The yellow pair has the regular Nike Dunk Hi design but with a slight modification – it borrows its Swoosh sign from the Nike Blazer, providing a larger bold check. The last Dunk is a classy all black shoe, which he describes, “if rocked right, you could even wear them with a suit, and the all black version is perfect for that.”
And of course, all three kicks feature Questlove’s signature silhouette of himself that was featured on his first Nike collaboration as well.

New and Exclusive!!!
Never heard of Private Stock, but they’re supposedly a new company. They dropped these off at Shoe Gallery and I think they still have a few left. As of Saturday afternoon, they were in stock at Shoe Gallery and well, that black one is on my radar so I suggest you beat me to it because next time I’m in Downtown I’m gonna try and cop it. If anyone has a website link or more info on Private Stock, hit me up.

Lupe Fiasco Thought About Committing Suicide While Making His Latest Album "To Keep From Killing Someone Else"
Lupe Fiasco has put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into his upcoming 'Lasers' album.
The project was once rejected by his label Atlantic, he tried getting released from the label, fans organized a rally/boycott to get the album put out, now finally, on March 8, it will see the light of day.
There are still some battle scars left on the Chicago rapper, even if you can't see them.
In a recent interview with Details, Lupe talks about contemplating suicide while trying to get this album out. He even raps about it on the song "Beautiful Lasers."
"If you feel like you don't want to be alive, you feel just like I am," he raps.
A lot of his frustration stemmed from the fact Atlantic wanted him him to be something he's not. Trying to force poppy, syrupy records that might be fine for other artists but not Lupe down his throat.
"The creation of Lasers was a very painful, dark, f*cked-up process," he says. Adding that he definitely thought about suicide if only to prevent himself from "from killing somebody else,"
Creatively, Lupe knows his limits and what he's capable of musically even after Atlantic rejected his album initially for not being pop enough, he stayed on course.
"I don't know how to do what Kanye does," he says "I don't have that Midas touch."
He does however have the ability to make great songs that his fans enjoy.

Wale confirms his signing to Maybach Music Group
It took about two months to finally get confirmation, but Wale has officially signed with Rick Ross and them. However, Wale is still associated with Roc Nation on the management side, that partnership remains unaffected by this new signing. It should be an interesting couple of months to see and how and what comes about from Wale’s new 305 supported system.

Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux”
Jordan Brand really knows how to give the people what they want. Just when you think they can’t rile up the hungry masses again they go and pull out the Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux” and make things interesting.
We all know what the shoes look like by now and the big question is do they live up to the standards they once set. The answer is a resounding yes with the Black/Light Graphite nubuck upper in full effect. The Bourdeaux tongue flies high and the plastic 23 heel emblem pulls it all together. The changes on this model are subtle if any and as April approaches surely there will be a more thorough comparison. Available now on eBay.

SNEAKERS :: Air Jordan 5 Premio “Bin 23″
Since the Air Jordan 2011′s are hideous as hell, I guess we have nothing to look forward to this year except tons and tons of retro releases. And here are the Air Jordan 5 Premio “Bin 23″, which will be out sometime in 2011. But if you want to get your hands on ‘em early, well, you can be a hefty premium over OSneaker if you want them that bad. Spotted at IMF.

Yo sneakerheads
The Air Jordan XI Concords, which are like the holy grail of all sneakers to a lot of sneakerheads – has been confirmed to be released later this year. Much in the same fashion that the Space Jams took over Christmas of ’09. And as the Cool Greys took over Christmas of 2010. Sneakerheads, give thanks.

Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 GS – Black/Crimson-Metallic Gold
The Jordan CMFT Max Air was not scaled down for the women and children in 2010. They no longer have to miss out on the latest Jordan Brand craze however since this Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 GS – Black/Crimson is set to release next year.
The shoe is the same mix of Air Max 97 and Jordan 12 and if you were into any of the other colorways chances are you are gonna be mad this one isn’t in your size. The Metallic Gold really leaps off of the Black mesh upper and even extends down to the midsole. The design is finished off with a deep Crimson on the air sole and branding.

Cement Box and Air Jordan 3 Retro White/Cement (New Images)
Though the release of the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Cool Grey” may have dominated the blogs this week, the news of the Air Jordan 3 Retro in a White/Cement colorway coming in the redesign cement box was not far behind. Though it has not been officially confirmed through Jordan Brand, the thought of the combo has had sneakerheads checking for the release.
Seen here, the model doesn’t look to stray too far from the original cement box. The top half of the box is mostly black with a huge red Jumpman across the top. The lower half is engulfed with a cement print, a trait that will push it to the front of the pack in most shoe collections. Stay tuned, and we will be sure to update you as we receive more information. Available on eBay.
